I'm really sorry you have to deal with ignorance on a daily basis; it's rough. I just wanted to say: despite the fact we'll likely never meet, I don't stutter myself and don't have any close relations who do - but I try to make myself aware of this stuff, and try to take an interest. I'm fairly good now at picking up on it, from little signals, and would never try to rush someone to finish or 'get it out'. This doesn't help you, but I just hope it helps you feel better in general that we are out there, you are important enough to listen to, and you will meet more enlightened people.
