The only time I mention my stutter is when I really need to push out a key word and there's too long of a awkward pause. Besides those moments I rarely mention I have a stutter because I view it as self explanatory especially if i get stuck in the middle of a word. Mentioning you have a stutter to your dates won't make it awkward or "ruin it", if they have an issue with it they aren't worth your time. Out of all the girls I've talked to none were rude about it, most of them were pretty patient, and some even helped me out by finishing words for me (I know some people find that annoying/rude, I find it less stressful and it shows they have some compassion, it depends on the tone ofc.)
