I feel you. You have options, tho. You could keep your own name, or if you go the hyphen route, that may make his last name easier to say with the lead-in. The s-consonant combo is a tough one because there is a "break" in the airflow. stuttering on "stutter" is a good example. (thanks universe! you're so funny!) Try to "slide" thru the breaks in the airflow. That can work for me sometimes. As for saying his name at the wedding, its your day, take as long as you damn well please! Besides, the people who don't know will just think you choked-up at the realization that you are about to be married.
