Stuttering, especially if you are open to talking about it, is a good-faith show of vulnerability that tends to make others feels safe about sharing the deeper-level aspects of their own humanity. My husband never called my stutter cute, nor has anyone else I've dated or been involved with. But I know it's made me more approachable and has encouraged people to open up to me about the things they struggle with, and the ability to let someone in like that is attractive as hell to a lot of people.
