I actually wished (and still) being mute than having to deal with a soul devastating stutter... People won't expect much from you if you're mute. I mean they won't deal with you as they do with a stutterer expecting a quick and normal reply which will make you stress and sweat leading to a catastrophic speech performance most of the time. Eventually we hate it or we love it, one can be mute and express himself much faster and smoother than a stutterer would!
