Try this. Read what I have already written. I clearly stated that I have achieved fluency after being a severe stutterer. I come to the subreddit to support people that are struggling with their stutter. I often advocate for speech therapy. I believe in the strength of speech therapy. I believe fluency is achievable for many of us. I myself have used the workout analogy. You have to work at fluency just as you work at building muscle mass and strength at the gym. But there's a world of difference between getting advice from a friend at the gym, and having a trained professional guide your development. In my experience there's so much more to achieving fluency. Practice and hard work are part of it sure. No qualified therapist or coach is going to be offering their services in a subreddit.
