You mentioned haloperidol which is a first line treatment for Tourette’s, risperidone which is a antipsychotic and Clomipramine (which I’ve personally tried with no luck) a TCA. These medications might work as a off brand treatment temporarily for some people, but my point was there has not been a specific medication for stuttering and speech blocks. I feel like if a medication came out that actually targeted stuttering, it would be a lot better at improving speech and overall quality of life. Im also not agreeing your medications you listed don’t work, I just don’t want to be taking things like antipsychotics. I’ve never tried Haloperidol, I’ll have to look into that more.
