Stuttering when you’re about to talk to people face to face but not when alone How do i get over this? My stutter is not that severe. It’s a speech block(sometimes it turns into a repitition too) but if ONLY i can get over the first syllable of the first word in the sentence i’m about to speak, i can then go on without a problem. Like this: “Mmmmmister John, how did we do today? Did we reach today’s quota?” (I don’t speak the “Mmmm” out loud). Also when speaking the “Mmmm” there’s like a frog croaking voice with it like vibration or something and it sucks, sounds weird to me 😭 I’m also kind of glad we still need to wear mask here as when i’m about to speak, i’m like about to kiss someone. My mouth be like this 😗 but yeah, when i’m alone or talking to my language instructor on face cam, there’s not that much problem. I tried deep breathing, interjection (Using “uh” or “oh” before the first word) yes they do help but not really with the letters that i struggle most. Also does attempting to speak the first word like SINGING work? Does it also sound weird to hear it? Any other tips?
