A gentle note This isn’t a “my story” post. I just want to put something gentler in the feed for anyone who needs it today. I read the posts where stuttering feels like it’s ruined everything. That pain is real, and you’re not wrong for feeling it. Here’s a small counterweight: we aren’t broken. We speak differently. That difference can be exhausting and unfair, but it doesn’t make our words worth less. We’re allowed to take the time we need. We don’t owe anyone speed, smoothness, or a perfectly timed punchline to deserve a seat in the conversation. It’s okay to hate it some days. It’s also okay to chase fluency, to practice, to accept, to rest, or to do all of the above in the same week. Progress here isn’t a straight line. Sometimes the win is making the call, saying your name, ordering the coffee, or simply choosing to try again tomorrow. If today is heavy, borrow this: your voice is worth the wait. I’ll wait for your words. A lot of us will. We belong here. online, at work, in classrooms, on phone calls, on stages. exactly as we are. And if you’ve got even a tiny win from this week, drop it below so someone else can borrow it too. It would be cool to build a thread of tiny wins we can scroll back to on rough days.
