I also had a noticeably worsening stutter that started sometime in the latter part of high school (age 15 or 16). Like it went from total fluency to suddenly needing to consciously monitor my own speech. Now almost a decade later...I still stutter. Its weird because most stutterers I know and people in this sub seem to have had the condition since birth.
