I’m 22. I was a kid before everything went digital. I used to be terrified that I would need to order my own food by walking up to the till, or needing to ask the ticket guy on the train for a ticket etc. but everything went digital so I ended up not needing to worry about it, I can just buy a train ticket on an app and order food off a screen. I’d like to say that it saved me a lot of hassle but really, I never got that one to one interaction i needed. I’ve recently become a lot more confident with my stutter, by just not caring about it. But I think I could have gotten to that stage a lot earlier if it wasn’t for everything being digital. To answer your question, yes, my stutter destroyed my confidence. My lack of confidence worsens my stutter. Repeat
