In my 20s dating was very hard. I matched with guys on dating apps and had multiple stop talking to me when they heard my stutter in person. I finally found my person 3 years ago and he’s been amazing about it. He has never judged me, always takes the time to listen, and tries to understand when I’m feeling down/anxious about my stutter. I was very nervous about meeting his family and friends due to my stutter, but he was supportive every time I met someone new. I feel beyond lucky and hope everyone who has a stutter finds their person who accepts them fully.
