Fucked up a really important job interview today that I prepared so hard for because of my stutter and incidentally stumbled across this thread later on and just pisses me off we were dealt such a shit hand when it comes to our speech (definitely worse problems out there and certainly not putting stuttering above them) and the main thing I tell myself when I stutter in public is “these people don’t care that I stutter, it’s all in my head”. Guess the comments make me realise there are people out there that it does piss off
