Can head injuries cause stuttering?

Can head injuries cause stuttering? Of my 17 years of living, I have received at least 4 times, three of them leaving scars on my forehead. I used to be a quiet kid and don’t really remember talking before my first one (I believe it was when my sister tried to Superman me in a room that wasn’t big enough and now there’s a permanent dent in a corner in our old house). Could these have caused or influenced my stuttering blocks?
