Preparing a phrase, speaking slowly and with determination is a great strategy. What is the aim of them? If we **prepare a phrase** we may reduce fear (option #3 in the poll), and if we **speak slowly with determination** we could reduce 'holding back speech' (option #5 avoidance-behavior, in the poll)
