I honestly had no idea that heredity is this common (seeing how a single post can instantly prompt several examples). I recall reading that genetic factors can come into play but I also remember there being no scientific consensus as to a single cause or even a set of causes. In any event I will be on the lookout for any research on heredity which might point in one direction or another, and would be grateful for others who share the same. Edit: typos
