Agreed. At 24, I’ve grown a lot to view my stutter as something neutral in my life. Before I used to think, “Man, people will think that I’m stupid or nervous or something”. Then, one of my bosses at a previous job I worked at told me, “If I had a stutter, and someone made fun of me for it, I’d beat them up”. It shocked me big time. It made me recognize that I have a choice to how I view my stutter and people’s reactions. As a result, I’m pretty happy. I can now give attention to the other worries in my life 😂
