"good advice" telling someone you have never met to take showers is also "good advice" but it assumes that they have poor hygen. It is assumptionous and condecending. Also is their any more boring vain activity than going to the gym? Go for a hike. Start to do Judo. Pretty much everything is better and more meaningful than a gym. Also that just be confident advice is awful. Have you ever looked up the definition of confidence? *faith or belief that one will act in a right, proper, or effective way* only fools are confident when they do it for the first time. being confident doesen't make it possible for you to make a stand up backflip at the first try, you will land on your face. Oh and you are priviledged because you obviously never had the same challenges as OP, otherwise you wouldn't give some poor bootstrap advice.
