I agree that 100% fluency is not the goal. Even non-stutterer person´s are not that fluent. We -PWS - tend to be overly perfeccionist with our speech and that get´s on our own way. For what you had said, and I tend to agree, you (and us) have a problem **with the experience of communicating with other people** rather than the speaking mechanism itself. That is why even if you are more fluent you still have some issues regarding your communications skills. For me, part of solving the equation (so to speak) is observing and understanding oneself to improve one´s communication habilities. So is strange to me: ¿how did you manage to get fluent? It is a very first step that you are aware of your situation. Keep being observant and ask yourself questiont about your own though process. See if you can slowly change your mindset to become more relax in the presence of other. Try, try, and try. Leave your confort zone. Talk with people. In time you will improve for sure. Is not different that any other art. Stay calm.
