When I was in community college I had a professor tell me that “ we all stutter it’s not a big deal” and was told that if I don’t do it I’d get a 0 and that time my college didn’t have disability service. But thankfully I practiced a lot and didn’t do too bad and passed. Once I transferred to a university I got an accommodation for presentations where I’d only present in front of the professor and they can’t grade me on my speech but more on how I do the work n try to present which helped a lot! But my first professor at my new uni almost failed me because my speech was horrible and her feed back was “ didn’t make good eye contact” how am I supposed to make eye contact with you when I’m struggling to say a word? sometimes you’ll get asswhole like that! id definitely try to change professors and talk to your disability service if you have one
