Yep and that’s exactly why nationalizing medicine makes sense. It would replace the business’s ultimate goal of profit and instead replace it with the goal of protecting and improving the health & well-being of the people. Yes I remember the lies and misinformation that conservatives and the healthcare industry tried to spread about the ACA. The fact that private health insurance companies can ruin the lives of millions of people just because the treatment or medicine they need is too expensive or “risky” for the company is a complete disgrace. We need Medicare For All now, especially in the face of a pandemic
