Most people who use diaphragmatic breathing don't stutter when they do this technique properly. I think this is because if you focus on the diaphragm (which you learn properly in therapy), then you distract yourself from the stutter anticipation. It doesn't remove stuttering completely though, because this technique doesn't approach the stutter habit: \- justifying compulsion \- fear of compulsion \- conditions to stop compulsion (basically, a condition to have a fight or flight response) \- condition to not learn from mistakes (experiential understanding and body intelligence) so you are basically limiting your ideology into maintaining your habit
