i had a similar situation in english class during freshman year on the first day where the sub told us to write things ab ourselves and we had to say it aloud. when it was my turn, i was so nervous but it was mandatory so i had to do it. on the first sentence i wrote: hi. my name is \[insert name\] and i couldn't even say "my name is" it was so hard for me and someone laughed :( i felt so embarrassed that i didn't dare speak again unless spoken to but it was technically always like that but this situation just made matters worse.
