For many stutterers the teenage time has been the hardest time of their life. I think the reasons could be: - Kids your age are less mature and can rather react inappropriately to stuttering. - For kids your age it is generally more important "what other think about you" than for the adults. - Your brain are still in development (until you are 25) and it is harder for you to cope with your stutter. So it can be very hard especially if you dont have the right support. The good side of the coin is that the older you are, the better it gets. Generally speaking it is very likely that you can have in few years a very good life and be long-term happy. With or without the stutter. So dont give up :)
