I mean, my parents didn't consider taking me to speech therapy until I was 16 years old or so. I'm going to speech therapy now as an adult but I believe I could have got rid of it if I had treated it when it was easier to get rid of. I suppose this mainly because ever since I started speech therapy I've seen improvements.
