Keep an eye out to see if she's just going covert (i.e. Switching words, pretending not to know answers to avoid talking, etc...). In my experience, girls are more likely to be covert than guys, especially if they have mild stutterers My only advice is encourage her to talk and let her know that stuttering is ok and it's not her fault. You don't want her thinking showing stuttering is the worst thing and therefore not talk or express herself Also, take her to a speech pathologist that specializes in stuttering. I don't know if she's too old for lidcombe but find one that can help her be comfortable and not one whoa gonna focus only on eliminating her stutter (that usually backfires). Seeing an slp won't make anything worse so you don't have to be nervous. Just search around for one with good stuttering experience.
