I’m sorry that you had to go through that, but most of us here have had it our entire lives and faced bullying and rejection since a very young age. So the thought of having to “come out” to family about having a stutter is kind of unheard of to us. It’s not something you can hide, so it would make sense that your mom knew something was going on. Did you think she would reject you for it?
