You're so great for reaching out. I'm Irish too and I'm just gone 17. Are u a boy or girl and is your school in Dublin if you don't mind me asking? That's definitely tough, I've heard it's way more difficult with the masks for some people to get their words out. Also reading Othello (I'm guessing that's what everyone does for the LC) must be hard, just reading out loud and the language in it! I know it probably feels all consuming right now about the future but you will be able to become an Irish teacher if you want to - believe it or not. There's a teacher in my school who has a stammer/stutter and he has a lot of repetition, prolongation and blocks sometimes aswell. So his stammer is very much there. But that acc helps him connect with the students better and everyone loves him because stuttering is something that makes you vulnerable and everyone loves vulnerability, especially in secondary school when so many ppl are so fake. It doesn't get in the way of his teaching and it won't get in the way of yours either. This is a bit all over the place but I hope it makes a bit of sense 😊
