Stutter aside, are you fluent enough in the language of the country you're moving to? If you have a noticeable accent that might be harder to understand, you'd naturally slow down :) When I moved to the States many years ago, at first I had to talk much slower. Personally, I generally prefer people who might stutter but still speak fast. But, of course, it's a matter of preference—I just can't stand slow talkers
