Patrick, I can relate. Reading what you wrote was weird because I felt like it was me writing it. I'm totally down to being good friends. In fact, we're all friends here. You won't ever stop stuttering because that's what you do; you stutter. But what you can stop is your negative feelings about it, like you said, learning to live with it, slowly improving. And that comes through time and experience. Where are you from? You should look into joining a stuttering support group. PM me.
