Hey, the cure IS speech therapy. It worked for me, but unfortunately it all resurfaced just once in an interview for the job I really really wanted. But I realized a biiiiig thing. The interviewees were high strung as fuck and made me nervous. Do I want to work for people like that? Hell no! I was so filled with anxiety with how intense they were that I could only imagine how much flack I'd get from making a casual mistake on the job. The interview for another company I had last week, everyone was lovely and encouraging and asked relevant questions I could answer, nothing ridiculous to catch me off guard. I did feel myself about to stammer, but as they gave me the time to breathe I relaxed and could get everything out. Moral of the story is to trust your gut. If you're stammering, maybe something at the back of your mind is telling you this guy who "looks like he's pretending to be some CEO of some huge cooperation" isn't someone you wanna work for. Apply for at least 3 roles every evening and you'll land at a company you're happy to work for eventually. Oh, and obviously plan your answers to the "Situation - task - action - response" questions, being prepared will give you a lot of confidence too.
