The Thiamin Protocol Found some articles online that talk about how pws may have a thiamin deficiency which contributes to their stutter and how this can be treated by supplementing thiamin + magnesium for increased bioavailability. I will be self-experimenting with these 2 supplements and will report back with my results when I am done. In the mean time if you would like to read more about it: [https://casafuturatech.com/vitamin-b-1-thiamin/](https://casafuturatech.com/vitamin-b-1-thiamin/) [http://stuttersense.blogspot.com/2014/07/if-you-stutter-has-thiamine-vitamin-b1.html](http://stuttersense.blogspot.com/2014/07/if-you-stutter-has-thiamine-vitamin-b1.html) [http://www.thestutteringbrain.com/2011/02/second-cure-of-martin-schwartz.html](http://www.thestutteringbrain.com/2011/02/second-cure-of-martin-schwartz.html) And here is an ebook which explains the protocol in depth (scroll down the page if you want to read the ebook without downloading it first) [https://www.academia.edu/38185003/Thiamin\_Protocol\_by\_Martin\_F\_Schwartz\_pdf](https://www.academia.edu/38185003/Thiamin_Protocol_by_Martin_F_Schwartz_pdf) Also, if anyone else has any experience with using drugs/supplements to improve their stutter, especially if it is scientifically backed, please let me know and I will consider trying it in case the Thiamin Protocol does not work for me Edit: Here are some other supplements that people have reported anecdotally to have helped them with their stutter: L-Theanine: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/77vz80/taking\_ltheanine\_fixes\_my\_stutter/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/77vz80/taking_ltheanine_fixes_my_stutter/)
