Thank you, and yes I've met ppl who were just amazed of the jobs I was doing with a stutter. I worked in retail and fast food. I started trying out other positions, like register and drive thru to push myself to be in more social situations and I found out that I don't stutter and it helped build confidence. Alot of ppl notice the ticks and blocks and ask about my speech and I'm happy to let them know about it. I have noticed a difference in how I'm treated, some become very patient, others I've seen get annoyed with me or comment negatively but I push on and ignore. I stopped getting upset when someone reacts negatively, can't force someone who's never met or dealt with someone with a stutter to understand haha I just take my time anyway We're all special, as much as it seems like a curse, it's a blessing, I makes ppl think about how to need to interact with you and it humbles ppl who understand what your going thru We stand out, so stand out and talk proud. Wishing you guys a happy thanksgiving and hope everyone has a blessed day!
