Has your stutter benefitted you in any way?

Has your stutter benefitted you in any way? I recently took a trip and was told my seat had been double-booked and I had been downgraded. I have a neurogenic stutter which is exacerbated by stress and it went into high gear when I was talking to the clerk at the checkin counter. She began to ask me questions which I couldn't manage to answer and she said, "Never mind, I'll take the next person," and I got to keep my seat. I was happy (although embarrassed I couldn't even say my name). Has anyone else had an incident where their stutter gave them a lucky break?
