>What exactly can you think about when having a conversation, other than what are you going to say in the conversation? In the viewpoint of distraction and not paying attention, we can switch our focus from '***what we are going to say***' to: * the here and now, the present (instead of being in the future) * normal routine or current daily activity * the other person (in order to stop self-analyzing and to get out of your own head) * focus on the faith in your mind-body that it can automatically speak (instead of focusing on the senses) * Rely on above faith (instead of relying on intrusive thoughts and feelings) (note: all thoughts and feelings are intrusive unhelpful thoughts because there is nothing that can confirm whether we are going to move our speech muscles during a block) (only the action itself '*focusing on sending command signals to speech muscles*' confirms this)
