I am a SLP and also went through a period where my 2.5 year old was stuttering, so I read a lot about stuttering at this age. Please stop just pointing out his smooth speech! He doesn’t have the control over stuttering to just be able to stop. This is just sending the message that stuttering is bad, and smooth speech is good - which you do NOT want. Check out stuttering therapy resources. I ordered their SLP manual for early childhood stuttering, but it would be very helpful even for parents without any SLP background. At minimum, it will help you to understand when your child is not getting appropriate therapy. Feel free to message me if you want to talk more
