I know I'm a little late to this but just wanted to say, I stutter much much less when speaking English and German (second languages) than I do when I speak Serbian (my native language). As I'm getting better in German I notice I start stuttering a little bit more in it, but still considerably less than in Serbian. I thought this is because I speak a lot slower and careful in my second languages and actually pay more attention to words and grammar then to stuttering. I wonder if anyone has the same experience, I was very surprised when I saw these comments saying they stutter in second languages too, I always kinda assumed everyone is same as me in this matter.
