I’m not in the market for a job right now but do stutter in social situations with new people. Since the interview is with a stranger, who may or may not be intimidating, why doesn’t everyone practice either with each other (better bc you don’t know each other)? Look up common interview questions, set up a zoom meeting etc. Also I’d try taking all the vitamins mentioned here and on other sites: b1, zinc, b6 and magnesium. Find a mindful practice like headspace or there are plenty of free self hypnosis and meditation podcasts. Make it a daily practice. Cut out or cut back on any processed sugar/candy (bad for your brain and clear thinking). Get some exercise even if just walking. The one theme that I often see here is that we stutterers feel out of control. If you don’t address it and walk into the interview hoping that they don’t make you say a certain word and hoping that the interviewer doesn’t do something to make you anxious, your stutter will be so much worse. If you walk into that interview having had 10 mock interviews, a solid mindful relaxation practice and the help of some vitamins (even if it’s just a placebo effect), then your going to do so much better than if you’ve just sat around getting anxious about it.
