Close family is the worst too, dad never believed in me accomplishing anything because how bad I stuttered with him. Other of my relatives - fine. It was funny when once he started a conversation something about "how it should be hard for me because of my stutter" and my cousin asked "what stutter?". It always left me with that bizarre feeling.
