I think that's very normal, I do and feel exactly the same. However I would love to not feel ashamed about it because unfortunately we are our biggest bullies. I admire other people being straight to the point about their issues, cat out of the bag like you said. Admitting a weakness makes you look and probably feel strong. Hiding it anxiously both looks and feels pathetic to be honest. Maybe being so straight forward will confuse some people but then that's their problem now, right? :)
