Just a thought; the reason could be that you have worked so much on your speech technique but you haven’t learned the feeling of speaking and being spontaneous. You may have learned to control your speech but now it may be time to just live in the moment and focus on the right parts of interacting, such as the positive feeling you may get from others and their attributes. And focusing on what other people are saying opposed to thinking ahead of what words you want to use technique on. I recently searched for mindfulness phrases online and wrote down the top 20 I liked. Now I’m memorizing them so these thoughts will become a habit You need to gain a sense that you are safe to express yourself, even mindlessly and unconsciously. That will help you flow better in all areas of your life. I would recommend reading “Redefining Stuttering” by John Harrison, someone who stuttered for many years and was part of the National Stuttering Association for many years. You can find a free link to the book if you google the title. If you can’t find it I will help send you a link. I was surprised to find the book for free after seeing it was sold out on Amazon. And just curious, what exactly have you been doing to work on your speech?
