Thank you! Yeah I think as a person stands up for himself or herself a kind of confidence grows or a sense of self-integrity automatically becomes more valued in that persons own perspective. Like, I didnt want to back down from holding that discussion because I knew that I had knowledge about the subject and that I could contribute. It would be a disservice to me to not allow myself to take up some space. Yeah I know what you mean, if I had gotten that advice from my professor a few years ago I would have been frustrated! Just let me dodge this one, we will worry about the next time when that happens just leave me be haha.
