That’s interesting. For me, my stutter gets much worse the more I try to focus on it. If I’m giving a presentation/am in a formal situation, I get too into my own head and focus completely on it, which makes me do it. If I’m having a day where I feel especially confident, I’ll stop thinking about it and then realize how well I’m doing that particular day. Always amazes me how esoteric this condition is still.
