In my viewpoint and experience, I have 6 family members that stutter, from which 3 of them naturally recovered from stuttering by applying their own personal strategy. They never went to speech therapy. My goal is to reach subconscious fluency and remission of stuttering, just like my relatives have done, so yes indeed, I believe that I can one day also put my stuttering into remission. In my opinion, we can learn from research. [This](https://pure.eur.nl/files/48243924/Repub_117942_O-A.pdf) new research from 2019 is about "*Spontaneous late recovery from stuttering: Dimensions of reported techniques and causal attributions*". Researchers identified three components of perceived causal attributions of recovery: Life change, **Attitude change** and Social support. **Attitude change** refers to: 1. "My self-confidence increased" 2. "I did not evaluate my speech negatively any longer" 3. "I became insensitive about reactions by others to my stuttering" 4. "I no longer accepted that I was one who stuttered"
