I have this issue or challenge. Have patience and self compassion. Realise that anyone that judges you probably isn't worthy of your friendship. The blessing of having an issue like this is that it forces you to practice these qualities. The alternative is embarrassment, shame, which tends to make it worse and we can become more closed to to people and the world.  Learn to be bold and just think, "fuck it, if I stutter i stutter. Don't let it stop you from living and enjoying life, socialising etc. This attitude alone will help, whether or not it improves the stutter.  I've noticed that during some exercise classes I attend that I can say my name easier. This may be due to the way I'm breathing and also the chemicals released from the brain during and after exercise. The stutter/stammer is teaching us something. We're overthinking, we have too much or too little self importance. Perhaps in a past life you spoke too much truth and got your head chopped off haha who knows.  I hope this helps. 🙏🏼  Ps. how do I change the username? I didn't pick this name!
