I have a similiar Issue. One way i kinda dealt with it was to kinda try dividing it into 2 parts? So the first letter or syllable i just kinda conceptualize as if i am spelling it. For Example in my case it would be D - aniel. It kinda seems like a little natural stagnation, that a lot of people have when they are beeing surprised or nervous and do have to answer to a unexpected situation quickly, which also seems kinda normal when beeing asked for a name. At first, it might seem very unnatural but with a bit of training and experience it gets better. Hope this could help somehow!
