My age and my stutter…its much better since my teen years. As an adult, I have varied. I had 4 years of TOTAL fluence from 2019-2023 for an unknown reason. I have now, as of 8 months ago begun to stutter again. It’s very situational. In very usual, common, conversation, I'm fluent. If I'm trying to explain something I stutter. Also, I'm an English speaker, learning Spanish as a young child. When I attempt to converse in Spanish now I 100% stutter. Its so puzzling. As most of us know, there is a psychological aspect to stuttering but also a neurological aspect as well. The location of the anomaly is supposedly in the same area as Parkinson’s disease and shows motor dysfunction. There is an amazing poster on this site: Little_Acathaceae87 This poster is totally science-based. Good luck. BTW, I’mb seeking speech therapy even at my age.
