The best tip I can give you is to just give yourself some time. In my case my stutter worsenes when I am consciously thinking of stuttering, and since you mentioned you are worried about a potential stutter in your conversation, I feel the same may be the case with you. Overtime you will find out the way your stutter works and you will be able to work around your blocks, it will be a tough battle and you will have to step out of your comfort zone more, and deal with emotions you may not have dealt with before. The best thought I have going into conversations I am more nervous in, is knowing I won’t be in that conversation forever, and the day will end and we will both have forgotten.
