You completely missed everything.. its not just taking a deep breath, its controlling your exhale to not run out of air before you mean to.. it's why a lot of people who stutter, including myself can sing perfectly fine, because we're making a conscious effort to control our air flow. There's posts on here where people have been wondering why they can sing but stutter when talking. It may not be your cause for stuttering, but it drastically help did mine.
