I see what you mean. Not all jokes are that obvious though. And sometimes it’s not about being funny when you joke. It’s actually just about lifting the mood of people around you. If they see you are in a lighthearted mood, whether they laugh or not at your joke, it will make other people feel good and also make them treat you better because they know that you are doing well internally. And why do you think you block in the first place?
